In the upcoming General Election on 4 July the Green Party of England and Wales has committed to standing a candidate in every constituency. In Gateshead Central and Whickham we have selected Rachel Cabral but we need your help to RAISE THE DEPOSIT and other Campaign costs which will total £1000 so that everyone has the opportunity to vote Green.

In this General Election, there is very little chance that Conservatives will be able to form a government and so you can vote with your heart rather than tactically. This year you can vote for the party you want, but to do this Greens need to be on the ballot.

Why is it important to have Greens on the ballot paper?

• Just by standing, we force the other candidates to green up as they know we will hold them to account during the campaign – we don’t need to win!
• We can highlight our policies during the General Election campaign to help win in the Local elections too
• We know that Labour have abandoned their flagship environmental policies, and are Tory light
• Only Greens champion tax reform and a Wealth Tax to create the £Billions needed to drive a green economic transition and pay for public services
• We have already exceeded planetary tipping points.  Only Greens support economic policies that will limit growth to within the boundaries set by our home – the Earth.  

If you WANT GREEN, the only option is to VOTE GREEN
